Our dual disc clutch has been designed by our in-house engineers and tested extensively in drag, drift and everyday cars to achieve excellent pedal feel, high torque capacity and reliability. The friction materials are metallic or organic ceramic and are made in Germany, the outer diameter is 185 mm to 200 mm.
All replacement components such as clutch diaphragm spring, backup ring, pressure plate, clutch plates, float plates etc. are available individually to replace worn components, so you won't have to buy a whole new clutch kit. The surfaces of the pressure plate and float plate are honed to provide an even and smooth friction zone. The hub splines are made from high tensile steel and are then heat treated for increased surface hardness.
Buyers are recommended to go for a torque rating that is 20% higher than their maximum engine torque, if the intended use is frequent launch control and flat shifting operation.
Note that when using Launch Control & Flat Shift the wear is exponential.
In case the crankshaft thrust is 180 degrees, it is recommended to add a second thrust because the crankshaft receives more axial stresses.
