The iSWEEP EA888 Aluminum Oil Pan is a billet engine oil pan made from 6061-T6 aluminum by CNC machining. The design places cooling fins across the entire lower surface of the oil pan to demonstrate the cooling effect of air cooling, so engine oil temperature is stabilized under harsh driving conditions like on the racetrack. Also, the oil capacity can be increased by about 1 liter. A baffle that suppresses oil polarization is placed inside the oil pan to prevent oil from shifting even in circuit bends where strong lateral G is applied, allowing a stable oil supply. Drain bolts are placed in two places on the left and right sides of the oil pan, which allows the old oil inside the oil pan to be completely drained. A stock oil level sensor can be installed the same way as a stock oil pan. Since the service port is located on the side, you can easily attach an externally made oil thermometer by replacing it with the included 1/8TP sensor adapter. CNC machined from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum While others use cast or welded sheet metal, using billet eliminates the risk of failure due to material defects such as poor manufacturing tolerances, casting porosity, welding imperfections and structural warping. Integrated Cooling Fins This feature helps cool and stabilize engine oil temperature, preventing it from skyrocketing in harsh driving conditions on the race track. It also adds structural resistance against grounding due to road hazards. Compartmentalize the confusing This feature is designed to prevent oil from leaking around tight turns, ensuring a stable oil supply around the pick-up area.

 
Increased Oil Capacity Slightly larger oil pan holds an additional 1 pint/litre (0.26 gal) oil capacity. The extra oil helps to both control temperature and stabilize the oil supply. Factory Oil Level Sensor Mounting Layout The OEM Oil Level Sensor mounts directly to the iSWEEP oil pan. Its position is adjusted to detect the extra liter of engine oil, a good warning system like your fuel gauge. When the oil level warning goes off, you still have a good buffer before the oil drops below the factory recommended level. Double drain plug The perfect function for the do-it-yourself. Most don't have an elevator at home and are constrained to limited work space. So for autodidacts who can only lift the car on one side of the car, the dual drain ports allow you to use the lowest position for complete drainage. Oil Temperature Gauge Port Includes provision for oil temperature gauge which is included with kit. Simply replace the solid plug with the included 1/8 TP adapter.
