INVIDIA DOWNPIPE The most restrictive component of the factory exhaust system is the downpipe which starts just after the turbocharger. Invidia exhausts use a larger pipe diameter and smooth bends that allow the turbocharger to exhale exhaust gases with less restriction and turbulence. For these reasons, Invidia downpipes are the most popular exhaust upgrade that adds a substantial increase in horsepower and torque with a large reduction in turbo lag. To withstand the high temperatures seen at the turbocharger, laser-cut cast steel flanges are used to ensure long-lasting, leak-free reliability. A high-flow catalytic conversion is used to control emissions for road legality, but with minimal impact on exhaust flow. This is a 100% bolt-on installation for right hand drive vehicles with no modifications or changes required. Factory O2 sensor locations are also retained for compatibility with factory systems.
