Kevlar material, otherwise known as aramid, is a composite material that has good frictional properties and retains its mechanical properties at high temperatures. That's why we replace the clutch plates with Kevlar for increased durability!
This particular clutch is designed for 20-30% more torque capacity than the stock clutch. However, it has been successfully tested in applications with up to 470 Nm of torque.
