Our AMS Performance VW Golf R MKVII Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Upgrade has been designed to draw a greater volume of cold air into the stock turbocharger. With this intake installed, the bulky air filter housings are replaced with our carbon fiber tube and dry media filter. This eliminates clutter in the engine compartment while drawing in cold air from outside. The MK7 Golf R Cold Air Intake Kit is a big improvement over the stock intake system and supports horsepower levels up to 600 HP !

- For vehicles with secondary air injection, an optional SAI filter kit is available separately here. As these motorsport grade carbon fiber parts are hand laid, slight imperfections or variations in weave pattern can be expected. Filters use specially designed media that restores performance and efficiency every time by simply using compressed air (30-40 psi) from the inside out, making frequent backwashing unnecessary to restore filter performance. For deep cleaning in extreme environments, a biodegradable cleaner such as Simple Green or other mild shop degreasers can be used. Simply place the filter in a solution or spray the cleaner on the filter. Let the solution dislodge the particles then rinse thoroughly. Shake the filter or use compressed air from the inside out to remove residual water and let it dry for a day or two.
